Treasure In The Wall
John was a hard-core DIY renovator. He didn't have much in the way of construction skills, but he made up for that with enthusiasm.
One day he was cutting holes in the loungeroom wall, preparing to build recessed shelves to display some vases his wife had recently bought. When the dust cleared after cutting the first hole, something inside caught his eye.
It was an old pill bottle! He pulled it out and examined the dusty treasure. Looking back into the rubble-filled hole, he could see more bottles and jars.
"Honey, came and check this out!" he called to his wife. "I've found antiques sealed up in our walls!"
His excited wife came running in to have a look. She reached inside the hole and pulled something out, handing it to John. "Here's your toothpaste, you idiot. You've cut into the back of the bathroom cabinet!"
